  • This position is an integral part of the accounting team. This position will provide challenges,

    opportunities for learning and advancement. It covers a wide range of duties such as general ledger

    entries and reconciliations, fixed asset control, invoicing and collections, assisting with audits and

    taxes and other similar accounting duties. An overall understanding of the accounting process and

    sound accounting principles are required.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Assist with preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.

    • Create and process end of month general journal entries and reconcile accounts at end

    of month.

    • Identify, research, and resolve accounting irregularities.

    • Maintain accounting ledgers, journals, registers, etc.

    • Ensure accurate and timely invoicing of customers.

    • Enter invoices, process and reconcile accounts receivable.

    • Enter invoices, process and reconcile accounts payable.

    • Recording of accounts payable and accounts receivable.

    • Monitor accounts receivable for collection and aging.

    • Assist with monthly and annual tax reporting.

    • Work with auditors on annual reviews.

    • Sales/use tax filings.

    • Create, follow, and improve accounting processes.

    • Assist with expense and other variance analysis.

    • Perform tasks which are supportive in nature to the essential functions of the job, but

    which may be altered or redesigned depending upon individual circumstances.

    Qualification Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting

    • One to three years of related experience

    • Knowledge of general accepted accounting principles.

    • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; Microsoft Access preferred.

    • G/L experience a plus.
