Conference Business Developer with Excellent English to start working with us on January 6th 2020


Due to our continued expansion to South America, Vostock Capital is looking for proactive and tenacious Business Development Managers with excellent English (at least B2 level and it is exclusory) to work remotely from home, starting on Jan 6th 2020.


Requirements for the role of Business Development Manager 

• Laptop or Computer at home with Windows 10 preferably if it´s not a Mac

• Excellent Internet connection ( > 5Mbs)

• Quiet space at home to use as office

• Bachelor's Degree or higher

• Native Spanish and fluent English is a must ( exclusory)

• Excellent communicator with a proven ability to clearly convey ideas, written and verbal in both Spanish and English. Experience in working over the phone is appreciated

• Team player with the ability to manage time effectively in a multi-faceted role

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to run multiple projects and meet deadlines

• An interest in business is a must, as is an entrepreneurial spirit, a readiness to take responsibility for your work and, of course, great communication skills

Sales oriented. Conferences/sponsorship sales experience is desirable 

• Target driven and hungry for success and money


Role Responsibility

Take ownership of driving new business, selling all manner of opportunity from exhibition space and speaking slots, to sponsorship, 1-2-1 meetings, advertising and branding  

• Negotiate with senior level executives through various methods of communication including cold calling

• Develop and execute a proactive plan to attract new conference and large-scale conference sales

• Identify relevant client prospects and gain new business leads and enquiries 

• Develop, deliver and present proposals for new and existing clients

• Gather and communicate weekly sales and activity reports to relevant stakeholders

• Undertake, understand and feedback local and national competitor analysis

• Works with the sales team to identify commercial opportunities and deliver event sponsorship & exhibition revenues

• Works with the sales team to maximize attendee revenue

• Nurturing relationships with senior industry figures, including equipment and service providers, suppliers, etc.

• Travel as requested to conferences, vendors, exhibitions etc.

• Be both resilient and driven


Terms and Conditions

• Working hours: 8 am to 5 pm ( Argentinian time)

• Contract for professional Services

• Basic Payment:  450US$ to 550US$ ( depending on the results of the interviews) to be paid monthly in ARS or US$ as requested

• Commission:  400US$ to 800US$  ( or more depending on skills)  to be paid monthly in ARS or US$ as requested
