POWR is on a mission to empower businesses of all sizes by providing no-code plugins for e-commerce platforms like Shopify and Wix. Our suite of tools helps merchants grow, engage, and convert their audiences — and we’re expanding our product team to scale faster and smarter, especially with AI at the core of future innovation.

We’re looking for an experienced Product Manager who thrives at the intersection of e-commerce, SaaS, and AI-driven products.

Candidate Requirements:
Candidate will work primarily with our engineering team in Kazakhstan (GMT +5), so must have overlapping time with Kazakhstan business hours. Must also be able to sync with US business hours for occasional company and team meetings.

What We’re Looking For:
We know that finding all of these experiences in a single candidate is rare — but each one below will significantly improve your chances of standing out.

1. E-commerce Platform Experience
Deep understanding of the merchant experience on platforms like Shopify, Wix, or similar.
Past work on Shopify Apps, Wix Apps, or plugins/extensions for major e-commerce platforms.
Knowledge of how merchants think: acquisition, conversion, customer retention, cart optimization, and customer lifetime value (LTV).
Experience optimizing for marketplace-specific SEO (Shopify App Store, Wix App Market).
Experience working as a merchant or part of an e-commerce focused agency
2. Experience in SaaS, or No-Code Tool Companies
Experience in companies building SaaS tools, no-code plugins, or self-serve app products targeting SMBs.
Understanding of product-led growth (PLG) — freemium models, trial-to-paid conversion strategies, and in-product monetization.
Familiarity with best practices around user onboarding and UX optimization.
Startup experience or being a founder/co-founder for any kind of business
3. AI Fluency
Strong fluency with AI trends, MCPs, different models, AI products.
Experience integrating AI into end-user facing products (eg, AI-based content generation, smart recommendation engines, chatbot integrations).
Ability to translate AI possibilities into clear, valuable product features without overcomplicating the UX.

4. Lead Generation and Conversion Optimization Tools
Experience building or managing lead generation tools or conversion rate optimization tools for SMBs – forms, popups, countdowns, nudge, email marketing, cart abandonment, reviews, etc.
Strong understanding of how to help SMBs grow and manage their sales through these tools.

5. Customer and Market Insight
Passionate about conducting user research, merchant interviews, and extracting actionable insights.
Data-driven decision-making with familiarity with A/B testing, product analytics, and conversion funnel optimization.
Ability to understand merchant needs across different industries and geographies.

6. Technical Collaboration and Shipping Fast
Comfortable collaborating with engineers, designers, and data scientists.
Able to translate business problems into clear product requirements and work in agile environments.
Experience with tools like Jira, Figma, Amplitude, or similar for PM collaboration.

Responsibilities:
Write detailed product requirements for engineering implementation and prepare customer-facing teams for the launch of any new features.
Prioritize roadmaps and plan sprints for our engineering teams across the globe (US, Kazakhstan, and Brazil).
Research and retain knowledge for key features in all POWR products and develop a deep understanding of our partner platforms (Shopify, Wix, Weebly, etc.).
Creating and leading the short and long term roadmap of a product/feature
Own OKRs and experiments — keep a close eye on metrics and make data-driven adjustments.
Manage product growth initiatives through research, strategic planning, and implementation.
Work closely with engineers, designers, data analysts, and customer support to align the different teams on POWR’s product vision and goals.
